Land O’Lakes Animal Hospital feels that the best medicine is preventative medicine. This begins with the necessary bi-annual health physicals and annual vaccinations.
While your pet is being hospitalized, we understand the stress that both you and your pet experience. Hospitalization can be through elective procedures, such as spaying or neutering, or emergency care and treatment. While your pet is here in our hospital, they will receive the best care possible. Our doctors and technicians evaluate patients throughout the day and monitor their progression thoroughly.
Some patients require 24-hour care. In this case, with discretion of our doctors, they may stay at our hospital overnight. Otherwise, they will be referred to our nearest emergency facility for 24-hour monitoring and care.
Visitation is allowed for hospitalized pets and may even be requested by our doctors as part of a pet’s recovery therapy.
Canine and Feline Wellness Programs:
During your visit, you may choose to prepay for the recommended bi-annual physicals with vaccinations and laboratory testing. This is great a savings for you and ensures your pets health.

Laser surgery is the future of veterinary medicine and we feel our clients deserve to have that option when choosing the best care for their pets. We will be happy to tell you if the procedure your pet needs can be performed with laser surgery.

You can prevent pain and discomfort to your pet with regular visits and cleanings. Regular teeth cleanings also prevents dental disease, such as periodontal disease, an oral bacteria which can easily affect the heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, and brain. On the day of your pets dental, they will go home with treats to prevent tartar and build up.
Digital Radiographs & Ultrasound:
Our state-of-the-art digital radiology allows us a more accurate diagnosis of internal abnormalities that would otherwise be referred to more costly specialty practices. Also, our ultrasound is advantageous in locating soft tissue injuries and cancers.
